Paolo’s Italian Restaurant: Authentic Italian Dining Experience in Kent, WA

Update: Paolos has a summer menu which I have attached. It includes lamp chops and scampi which we had. My wife loved the lamb chops, they were very tender and flavorful. The scampi was also excellent. Our first time at Paolo's. I read a lot of good reviews for them. They didn't disappoint, my wife loved the Cioppino and my son loved the crab and scallop pasta. The service was excellent, it was very quick and they were constantly checking on us. Every Italian restaurant we go to my wife will order the Cioppino and she said it was one of the best she's had. She loved the broth and the seafood wasn't over cooked. We will definitely be back.

We have been dining at Paolo’s since it opened years ago. We have never ever been disappointed with the food or the service. Ignore the negative reviews. This is one of the best restaurants in King County !! Highly recommend! Ask for the chicken and champagne sauce, it’s not on the menu but Chef Paul will make it and it’s absolutely exquisite.

We started with their garlic bread, which was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with rich, buttery garlic flavor. It was the perfect way to begin our meal. For our entrées, my wife ordered the ravioli with walnut cream sauce, and I had the classic spaghetti with meatballs. Both dishes were outstanding. The ravioli was rich and creamy, with just the right balance of nuttiness from the walnuts, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My spaghetti with meatballs was everything you’d want from a traditional Italian dish—al dente pasta, a robust tomato sauce with depth of flavor, and tender, well-seasoned meatballs that tasted homemade. Beyond the food, the service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. If you’re looking for high-quality Italian food in a welcoming setting, Paolo’s is a fantastic choice. The food, service, and atmosphere all come together for a truly enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Great place. 3 out of 4 meals were excellent and the last meal was good. Wait staff was attentive and kind. Feels like an upscale experience but in a casual setting. Based on personal preference I wish the setting matched the quality of food and service but that's hardly a thing to complain about. Definitely a hidden gem.

Food and service was amazing! Quicker sit down if you have a reservation. Hight recommend the seafood fettuccine and the lasagna. You can taste the fresh ingredients. Best Italian restaurant I've been too!

I was here for the first time this past weekend for Valentines Day where my now Fiancée proposed!!!! I will remember this place forever because of that. There was a live Harp player, and the waiters were all so kind and came up to congratulate us. I want to give a huge shoutout to the owner(s) as well. I was told typically parties of above 4 aren't allowed but they recognized my fiancée from when he used to work for an insulation company years ago, and he was in charge of remediating her attic!! Small world! My seafood fettucine was cooked perfect; the bread was fresh and the desserts looked amazing! I was blubbering like a baby all night so did not have the chance to try any. Theressa was our server and she was just a gem the whole night. We are definitely going back for other things on the menu we've seen, and I recommend anyone trying to have a nice date night with their loved one to come here!

4 course meal for our anniversary dinner, all the food was delicious and I like the portion sizes weren't large

The employees here are so welcoming. I ordered pizza with no particular status in mind. It was delicious. As birthday girl, my desert was free. It's a very nicely appointed restaurant. Loved it.
